Britney Gets Lucky

Written by admin. Posted in Uncategorized

Pop star Britney Spears and her hubby Kevin Federline have bought a new dog called ‘Lucky’, and have created a dog bedroom in their brand new California mansion.

The ‘Toxic’ singer and her younger sister Jamie Lynn bought puppies Lacy Loo and Allie Boo in July 2004, and then Britney went on to buy Chihuahua Bitbit in November 2004.

“I have a new dog named Lucky and I just bought her a new dresser for her room. Yes, she has a room, which she shares with Bit Bit,” femalefirst quoted Britney as saying.

“For Christmas, they got a baby chandelier to go in it. It’s the cutest thing in the world,” added the ‘Everytime’ star.

Rumour: Kylie Minogue Blows Hot & Cold For Britney

Written by admin. Posted in Uncategorized

Pop beauty BRITNEY SPEARS is turning to KYLIE MINOGUE to help her return to the music charts.

Spears recently heard a song called YOU BLOW HOT AND COLD and was desperate to record it for her forthcoming album.

But she had no idea Minogue – who famously rejected Spears’ hit Toxic – had penned the disco track until the Australian beauty offered her the single and wished her chart glory, reports British magazine NEW!

A source at Spears’ record label says, “She is over the moon that, for the first time, she is being allowed to pick the songs for her new album.”

"Do Somethin'" Already #37 In Capital FM's Airplay Chart

Written by admin. Posted in Uncategorized

britney spears “Do Somethin'” will be Britney’s 18th single in the UK and I think will chart pretty highly considering the airplay the song is already getting (currently at #37 in 95.8 Capital FM’s airplay chart) and isn’t facing much strong competition from other artists that week.

Here are that week’s releases:
Akon – Locked Up
Anastacia – Heavy On My Heart/Underground Army
Annie – Heartbeat
Elvis Presley – (Marie’s The Name) His Latest Flame
Girls Aloud – Wake Me Up
Idlewild – Love Steals Us From Loneliness
Iron and Wine – Woman King EP
Kaiser Chiefs – Oh My God
Kaptain Black – Drone The Queen Bee (7” only)
Maximo Park – Apply Some Pressure
New Found Glory – I Don’t Wanna Know
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds – Get Ready For Love
Nine Black Alps – Shot Down
Rakes – Retreat
Tears For Fears – The Closest Thing To Heaven
The Earlies – Bring It Back Again
The Frames – Fake
Tokyo Dragons – What The Hell

The only real competition there are Girls Aloud, but they won’t acheive number 1 as the song has already recieved critism for its lyrics concerning alchohol abuse, which will prevent a few sales from little girls. The other factor is that Britney’s tracks that are a bit ‘out there’ and aren’t really like anything out in the charts, tend to do well e.g. Toxic, Everytime & I’m A Slave 4 U.

UPDATE: It has now climbed to #33!
