Britney Must Undergo Drug Tests In Order To Keep The Kids

In a closed hearing on Monday, Los Angeles judge Scott M. Gordon set a lengthy list of rules that parents Britney Spears and Kevin Federline must adhere to in order to retain custody of their sons, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1. The list, revealed today, includes the following shared requirements for the former couple:

· Neither Brit nor K-fed can take Sean and Jayden out of state without the written consent of the other.

· The exes cannot make derogatory statements about each other.

· Both parents must complete the “Parenting Without Conflict” program.

· Each party is restrained from using corporal punishment with the kids or allowing anyone else to.

· They are required to engage in joint co-parenting counseling.

· Neither party may consume alcohol or non-prescription controlled substances 12 hours prior to getting the kids.

· They must ensure that any prospective childcare professionals hold valid Red Cross infant CPR training.

While the responsibilities for Federline end there, Judge Gordon tacked on an extra list of tasks for Spears to complete in order to maintain the current shared custody agreement. Those individual rules include:

· Attending individual counseling to address parenting issues at least once a week.

· Meeting with a parenting coach for a minimum of 8 hours a week, in at least two sessions a week. The coach is to observe her interaction with kids and her parenting skills and then provide Federline with a written progress report by October 22.

· And, “based on the evidence presented the Court finds that there is a habitual, frequent, and continuous use of controlled substances by Petitioner [Spears],” undergoing testing for controlled substances and alcohol. The testing shall be conducted twice per week on random dates and times, and the results will be forwarded to the court.

I hope now that these things have come to light people will stop saying, “Poor Britney.” Its more like, “Those poor babies!” They need their mother right now, and what is Britney doing? She is still going out partying, as one website has posted. I don’t know what is wrong with Britney, or if she will ever be “normal” again, but I do feel for those kids. I hope that whichever parent is more capable get full custody, and right now that looks like Kevin. Sure, he parties, but not nearly as much as Britney it seems. He was the one who gave them their birthday parties. I certainly do NOT believe that her kids should go to her mom, because look what a GREAT job Britney’s mom did at raising her and the position Britney is in these days. I just wish that people would stop supporting Britney’s actions and giving excuses about how people/papparazzi should lay off of her..she goes out and places herself in their direct sight! If she really wanted to do the best thing for her family, she would clean her act up, pack up and move to a smaller town where her children can grow up with some bit of normalcy in their lives. From what I have seen lately from her, she is not a good mother. She does drugs, drinks, doesn’t seem to spend enough time with her children, and to top it off, she STILL goes out to party after the court ordered her to clean up. She should be willing to do ANYTHING for her kids, and it doesn’t seem that she feels that way. Just sad.

I agree with you , “Well”. It looks like of all the things she lost she should miss her mind the most.
