Rumour: "Gimme More" Video To Premiere Tomorrow

Written by admin. Posted in Comeback, Rumours

According to multiple sources, the video for “Gimme More” that Britney shot back in July and August will premiere on Thursday’s edition of TRL on MTV in the US.

The video is said to open with a funeral scene, which Britney is at.  She then leaves the funeral and is followed by a guy who is chasing her.  She makes her way to a club where she walks through different corridors into rooms with different “Britneys” such as the stripper-Britney we saw pictures of in August.  The guy who is chasing her is trying to find out which one is the real Britney.  Rumours, but it sounds like an interesting concept…

Britney Must Undergo Drug Tests In Order To Keep The Kids

Written by admin. Posted in Custody Battle

In a closed hearing on Monday, Los Angeles judge Scott M. Gordon set a lengthy list of rules that parents Britney Spears and Kevin Federline must adhere to in order to retain custody of their sons, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1. The list, revealed today, includes the following shared requirements for the former couple:

· Neither Brit nor K-fed can take Sean and Jayden out of state without the written consent of the other.

· The exes cannot make derogatory statements about each other.

· Both parents must complete the “Parenting Without Conflict” program.

· Each party is restrained from using corporal punishment with the kids or allowing anyone else to.

· They are required to engage in joint co-parenting counseling.

· Neither party may consume alcohol or non-prescription controlled substances 12 hours prior to getting the kids.

· They must ensure that any prospective childcare professionals hold valid Red Cross infant CPR training.

While the responsibilities for Federline end there, Judge Gordon tacked on an extra list of tasks for Spears to complete in order to maintain the current shared custody agreement. Those individual rules include:

· Attending individual counseling to address parenting issues at least once a week.

· Meeting with a parenting coach for a minimum of 8 hours a week, in at least two sessions a week. The coach is to observe her interaction with kids and her parenting skills and then provide Federline with a written progress report by October 22.

· And, “based on the evidence presented the Court finds that there is a habitual, frequent, and continuous use of controlled substances by Petitioner [Spears],” undergoing testing for controlled substances and alcohol. The testing shall be conducted twice per week on random dates and times, and the results will be forwarded to the court.

The Firm Management and Britney Part Ways…

Written by admin. Posted in Comeback

Britney Spears’s manager has quit – issuing a statement Monday just hours after her lawyer also stopped representing her.

“It saddens us to confirm media reports that we have terminated our professional relationship with Britney Spears,” her management company The Firm said in the statement. “We believe Britney is enormously talented, and has made a terrific record. But current circumstances have prevented us from properly doing our job. We wish Britney the best.”

The statement didn’t say what those circumstances were.

But Spears has stumbled recently in her career comeback. After releasing a new single “Gimme More” to strong reviews, she gave a disappointing performance opening the MTV Video Music Awards.

The statement confirmed a story first reported by CelebTV.com.

Spears had been represented by Jeff Kwatinetz of The Firm for the past month. He was the second person leaving Spears’s camp on Monday.

Earlier in the day, Laura Wasser stepped down as her attorney in the custody battle with Kevin Federline. Wasser said Spears would be in “excellent hands” with her replacement and added, “I don’t want anyone to perceive that we’re dumping Britney.”

Britney & Kevin Trying To Reach Agreement Outside Court

Written by admin. Posted in Custody Battle

Britney Spears “just wants to be a mom,” her lawyer, Laura Wasser, said Friday – adding, “I believe this is a frustrating time for her.”

Wasser spoke to reporters outside the courtroom after another hearing in the custody fight between Spears and ex-husband Kevin Federline. TMZ.com and CelebTV cited court documents signed Friday saying Spears will continue to pay Federline $20,000 in spousal support, but it’s unclear how long that deal will remain in effect.

Wasser did not confirm any details about what was discussed. Asked if this is a frustrating time for Spears because of the negative reactions to her appearance last Sunday at the MTV Video Music Awards, Wasser said, “Yes. I think she just wants to be a mom, and both of her kids’ birthdays are this week, and I think she would’ve liked to celebrate with them without having to worry about the entire nation – the entire world – being concerned about what’s going on with her personally and her custody battle with Mr. Federline.”

Federline’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, said outside court that, as far as how Federline was faring, “He is doing great.”

Asked if Spears’s recent public appearance is helping or hindering her case, Kaplan replied, “I don’t know what thing you are referring to, and I’m not going to talk about any strategy. I think how she is doing is something for her attorneys to address.”

Wasser, when asked to address a story that Spears tried to offer Federline a settlement, which he was resistant to accept, replied, “I don’t believe that’s true. They met and are trying to work it out so they don’t have to have a judge make determinations for them regarding their kids. I don’t know that he was resistant or she was resistant. They are both trying to work to come up with something together.”

On Wednesday, Spears, 25, attended an unscheduled meeting with Federline, 29, and his attorney at the Century City offices of Wasser. The meeting fell on son Jayden James’s first birthday and five days before the parents are due to face each other before a family court judge on Monday.

Son Sean Preston turned 2 on Friday.

Spears and Federline currently have 50-50 custody, but Federline was seeking more time, serving subpoenas on people in Spears’s inner-circle to show problems in her parenting skills.
